Expect Everything... Scout 670 LXS Campaign
The 670 LXS, or Project Everest as we knew it, is a boat like no other. We knew the marketing campaign behind this incredible vessel had to be just as impressive. Our approach was multi-pronged, years in the making, and spread across multiple channels. From social media to the website, unveilings and press events, print collateral, and photoshoots, we left no stone unturned when telling the world about Scout’s all-new 670 LXS, the largest outboard-powered boat, and we are proud to showcase the work behind it.

Our strategic plan to launch the 670 LXS on social media began with a countdown-style teaser leading up to the conceptual announcement at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show. Until then, only a privileged few knew about the model. The announcement video earned over 85k Instagram views. In January 2025, it was time to unveil the first fully produced 670 LXS from Scout’s South Carolina-based factory. We announced it by posting a series of interviews where the Scout team directly involved with the production of the 670 LXS gave viewers a closer look at the model development. We livestreamed the moment the curtain dropped and the 670 LXS was unveiled to the world. Over 55,000 people tuned in to the livestream, and the close-up video posted after generated 27.1 million engagements.

Our goal with every social post, eblast, or editorial write-up was to grab people’s attention, make them curious, and ultimately drive them back to the Scout website to learn more. Like with every new model, the page started with a few renderings and basic spec information, but as the model developed, so did the webpage. Now you can find images, videos, specs, standards, and options, all leading to a form fill for interested parties. Since launch, the page has seen over 160,000 views, with 425,000 event counts, and 130 form submissions.

Public unveiling of the 670 LXS had to be equal the scope of the model itself, big. Both a private VIP event at Scout’s headquarters along with a public debut at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show were executed. Our team created the invites, the gift bag collateral, the video leading up to the unveiling, and we worked closely with the event production team to ensure the curtain drop and moments leading up to it went seamlessly. For the public unveiling and throughout the campaign, we also developed press releases that were strategically timed.
Our 25 years of experience in the Marine Industry helped us leverage event attendance and editorial coverage. Over 50 publications attended the press events and VIP unveiling. The 670 LXS has been featured in 45+ editorials via 31 national & international media outlets, has received two major awards, and it was featured on the covers of both Power and Motoryacht and Southern Boating.
